"Marlyn is very professional and proficient with all my concerns and questions. Best insurance for all my needs. ****Up Date**** State Farm, in general, will increase your premium 45% if you drive over a certain amount of miles per year. I received a text message that I would get an increase on my renewal. So I was curious and called to find out what exactly that was and why? Agent than stated in my case 45% because of my overuse of miles. I live in NY and travel to NJ for church and family. Very disappointing being with them for years. Be mindful of your milage. ***UPDATE #2*** Dear Chris Froster, Please excuse my earlier frustration regarding the HUGH increase in my State Farm policy. I won’t go into personal details, but as we all know, life sometimes brings unexpected challenges. My deepest apologies if my frustration seemedb.k toward Marlyn—that was never my intention. She has been nothing but kind, professional, and reliable. Without a doubt, she is one of the best customer service representatives I’ve ever came across. Her support truly made a difference, and I’m very grateful she assisted me and is my agent."

"***UDATE*** Getting upset at an insurance company because you drove more miles than you reported is akin to getting upset with a car dealer because you drove more miles on a leased car than the allotted limit. We don’t control the number of miles you drive, and Marlyn did her utmost to provide you with the best coverage for the miles you intended to drive. Furthermore, the simplest solution would be to reduce the miles driven, which would result in an adjustment to your price. So the 2 star review is not appropriate for Marlyn…she does not control the price, nor does she control the miles you drive! "

"Worst service I've faced. We canceled our policy back on 5/8/2025, as of now we haven't gotten our premium back. I have been called 5 times. They are saying they have an internal issue. I do' know what type of issues they have. I have mg dealing with Maggie and Sydney. Worst service. I did my 2 home insurance with a different State Farm agent. Not going back to them anymore."
